bottles/cups for cows milk transition

What bottle or cup are people using for the transition to cows milk when they’re 1? My daughter has had formula from bottle and is good at drinking water from a sippy cup just not sure how it all works with the transition. What cups/bottles are recommended?
thanks x

I’ll keep my tumtum for water and get a different sippy cup for milk and let her have it when she wants it. They only need 400ml milk but I’ll do it gradually 😊

We are going to keep using bottles for milk morning and night until he's transitioned off milk. We have to transfer from prescription formula to soya milk then cows milk eventually so want to keep a little consistent with using the bottles so he looks at it and thinks it's the same milk it's always been for him. No idea if it's right or wrong but it's what feels right for us

which sippy cup are you thinking of using for milk. We've got tum tum for water too but I'd rather a different ons for milk x

I’ll pop a photo. It’s been a hit in my mums group so I’m going to try it xx

@Pomelo for cows milk? She's not had cows milk as a drink before but she only likes formula warm or room temperature so not sure if she'll take cold or warm so ideally would like a cup that would allow for warmish milk x

we do room temperature ok here. I travel a lot so go for practical and thankfully she doesn’t need food heating all the time etc 😊

Should I be concerned or am I overthinking?

My little boy is 15 months old, he’s recently taken his first steps and he says mamma and dadda and baba (he has said these for months) we’ve filled out the paperwork for his 12-14 month review and it looks like he isn’t meeting many of his milestones.

He doesn’t copy actions, point, clap etc. He doesn’t react when being spoken to, or to his name. He actively avoids eye contact.

He was so unresponsive to sound that we just had his hearing tested concerned he was deaf. They found that he could hear so he is just choosing not to react to any noises or sounds.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with their little ones? Should I be raising this with the health visitor and ask to be assessed for neurodivergent issue or a social communication problem like autism?

I don’t want to just slap a label on him, but I do feel that there are real concerns. All opinions welcome!!

Routines?

When did you start to introduce your baby’s routine? Do they just have a night routine or full day routine? Wondering when I should start this e.g naps at the same time everyday.

Any routines you have that work for you, please let me know them with timestamps. my baby is 6 weeks and just wondering when we should start them?

Does anyone else’s baby spit up breastmilk but not formula?

I’m seriously considering seeing a lactation consultant because I don’t understand why he can’t hold down breastmilk but can formula. I use soy formula since I’ve used it with my daughter and I’m thinking it might be due to not getting milk coming in for a few days so I had no choice but to give him formula, but now even if I take breaks in between feeding him breastmilk to burp or try to mix breastmilk and formula, he spits it up sooo much. I’m ready to just give him just formula because I’m worried about him not eating enough

Bed time tips for 8 week old

So I literally cannot get my 8 week down to sleep before 11:30pm every night no matter how early we start our routine. We tend to do bath every second night but every night consists of feed, up to bed, into pjs, book, feed to sleep. We could start this routine at 7 and it would still be the case of not selling til 11:30.

She doesn’t nap during the day well, we get a 30 minute in the morning, and a 1 hour in the afternoon only if I’m out the house. She’s never distressed when she’s awake all that time, quite the thing being nosey and having cuddles. She’s EBF and her feeds all through the day are LONG and last from 30-45 mins each feed.

Any tips/advice recommended on how to get to bed earlier or just how to get her to sleep in general.
