I’ve been taking aspirin throughout my entire pregnancy, initially 75mg for recurrent miscarriage which was then upped to 150mg for low Papp-A. I’ve been given 3 different lots of advice from 3 different healthcare professionals on when to stop, just curious why others have been told?

The guidance varies from trust to trust unfortunately, I was told to stop at 36 weeks whereas I’ve seen others be advised to take it up until birth

I was advised to take until birth but as Lauren has mentioned, it seems to vary x

Probably should’ve added, I’ve been told 36 weeks by the midwives, 37 weeks by a doctor and ‘whenever I want’ as it doesn’t really matter by my consultant 🫣

I was told by my midwife to stop at 36 weeks x

I stopped taking them at 36 weeks as per my consultant and the letter I received I’m now 38 weeks pregnant x

It’s to avoid excessive blood loss during labour but I would clarify with your docs x

I was just told today by my midwife at 36+5 that i should have stopped at 36 weeks.

I was told by the consultant obstetrician to stop at 36 weeks x

My advice by 2 different NHS trusts is to stop at 36 weeks. I’m stopping Tuesday having taken 150 each evening since November.

I was told 36 weeks. But I’ll be honest and o stopped before because it’s
A blood thinner and I was told I could be early although I’m still here at 38 weeks

I’ve been told to stop at 36 weeks x

I was told from when I started taking it that I’d stop at 36, then saw the consultant at around 34 weeks who said I should carry on until I go into labour. Then saw a different consultant at 36+2 who said I should have stopped at 36 🤦🏼♀️

I took it until I gave birth
