How old was your LO when you stopped swaddling? Did you see an impact on their sleep (like a regression as they kept waking up with arms etc). We are getting some long stints of sleeping through and I’m scared it’s all going out the window when we stop swaddling.
I know lullaby advice is to stop when they start rolling so will be doing that.

My LO was holding his head up and rolling after one week so I never really got a chance to swaddle 🥹 I only swaddle him when supervised and he sleeps soooo much better!

As has mentioned you need to stop when either they start rolling or they’ve lost their startle reflex.

I was so nervous to take my LO out of his swaddle but decided it was time to transition out of it before we hit the 4 month sleep regression because I didn’t want him to go through too much at once.
So last week (at 13 weeks old) I decided to start transitioning him and he actually ended up loving having his arms out because he was using his hands to self soothe 😁 there was no affect on his sleep and he actually had his longest stretch of sleep a couple of days ago so I think it has even improved his sleep.
this gives me hope then! My LO is 12 weeks so I might try transitioning 😬
