Can’t believe I’m getting my first period since getting pregnant! I’m still breastfeeding around the clock so didn’t expect it to happen soon 😂although I had ovulation pains this month so had an inkling…
Anyone know why this has happened even though I’m breastfeeding or is anyone else in the same situation?

I've been EBF since my little one was born and have had bleeding since the start pretty much, although not regular. I don't think breastfeeding guarantees no periods, it all depends on your body. I could be wrong though 🤷♀️.

I was ebf my first and got my period at 8 weeks postpartum.
My second baby I just got my period at 6months postpartum.

I’m breastfeeding still and got breakthrough bleeding a couple months ago. I didn’t even think it was a period because it was so light and no really pattern to it but GP confirmed it was my period returning. Can’t lie although I hate the pains I’ll be glad to my body back into some sort of rhythm 😅

I'm still EBF my 7 month old and my period came back at 5 months 😭 I was hoping for at least a year 🤣 Everyone is different and we just have to play tye cards we are dealt! Mine gave been a bit lighter and longer time in between them as they're still settling

Still EBF my 7 month old and mine came back when she was 4 months, 😭 gutted. My sister seemed to think sometimes they come back quicker with a girl as opposed to if you had a boy. I don't know how true that is obviously! X

Still ebf, baby 7 months and no period yet

Baby might be feeding a little bit less now that they are on solids or sleeping longer stretches through the night x

I’m a first time mum and I got my period 3 months postpartum and EBF too from the beginning. I was annoyed. Hate periods with a passion, especially more now because my supply dips for a few days before I’m due and a couple days during.

I'm EBF as well and period came back at 5months :((
