When shall I book a reassurance scan

I had a miscarriage in Jan, and didn't want to have a reassurance scan and was going to try and hold out til my nhs 12 weeks if I got that far.. I am now feeling really anxious and am 6 weeks 3 days according to my lmp and I know this is usually wrong by a week or what ever, I have decided I need to go for one for my own reassurance but want to wait until I am a bit further along and passed the stage of my last mc. When would you book for a scan ? Don't wanna leave it too late cause it'll get my hopes up and it'll hurt more if something is wrong

Wait a week or a week and a half. You should hear the heart beat by then ;-)

You could phone your EPU and explain the situation, they may suggest a time you could come in to see them instead of going for a private one. I had 2 mc and the EPU have been great at giving me extra scans this time around x

Id wait until you’re 7 weeks according to LMP or a few days longer. That way you can avoid disappointment of seeing nothing due to being a little behind where you thought. The nhs scanned me on Thurs (due to some bleeding), on Thurs I was 6+2 according to LMP but they couldn’t see the embryo bcos they said I’m actually more like 5+4. So it was a bit of a waste of time as they can’t really say if embryo is ok or not when it’s too small to see x

I had one at 7+3 with my first and doing the same with this one xx

I had one at 6+5 and saw the heartbeat etc. I have seen the best time is around 7 weeks tho, they are really reassuring x

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
