Wellbaby vitamins - how to give to breastfeeding babies

The instructions say to mix 5ml with baby's usual milk or water, not to give directly from the spoon. Anyone know why? I've tried in water but baby doesn't drink all of it. Would it be ok to use a syringe? X

I’ve had the same problem! Used to use the vitamin d drops from Amazon that came with a syringe / dropper that she loved taking straight from that. I bought the multivitamin ones that needed to be mixed but she doesn’t have a bottle or drink enough of water to mix it in, so instead I got the ones from Superdrug that you use 5 little drops of so no where near as much and I put that straight onto a little spoon or mix with a little water and use the old syringe from the old drops! Bit of a faff tbh I thought there would be an easier solution but not a huge amount of choice on what to get!

These well baby vitamins (with iron at least) taste absolutely awful as well..😂 I can’t mix it with water as baby only has tiny sips here and there. The healthy start ones we got from HV were much easier but didn’t have all the vitamins

Advice pls💔💔💔

Advice please. So I live at home with my mom with my daughter whos 10 months old and my mom doesn’t work so she’s at home with me all day every day and she helps out a lot with my daughter and always has done since she was born especially at the start as I really struggled with PPD and I’ve noticed this since the start but I just feel like my daughter either just prefers my mom or thinks my moms her mom as she always wants to go to her and now she crawls she crawls to my mom instead of me, I’ve heard that babies know who their mom is due to smell etc but I just dont believe that she thinks im her mom. How do I change this and make her know im her mom ? Im
Also worried as I go back to work in a few weeks and my mom will be looking after her while im working so this will strengthen their bond even more💔💔💔 advice please?

How many naps does your 4MO have?

Hi ladies, just wondered how many naps your bubbas are having a day?

My little girl sleeps from 7:30pm - 6:30am ish and is still having around 5 naps a day. Her WW vary from an hour up to around 1hr 30/45 mins. I keep reading everywhere about babies transitioning to 3 naps a day but I just don’t see how this is possible as my LO gets so fussy if I push her WW too long.

TIA 🙏🤞

Hardest stage yet

I love my little boy to death but my god the 4-6 month stage is killing me off!
I did struggle with the newborn stage being a new mum but wow bring back my newborn 😭

Naps no more than 40 minutes at a time,
He use to sleep through now wakes up 1/2 times a night and wants to start the day at 6am 😴
Screaming like a banshee, loves to roll about but hates the fact he can’t crawl yet and makes it known 😂
cannot be kept entertained for more than 10 minutes at a time.
Doesn’t want to be held sometimes but doesn’t want to be put down (I can’t win 😅)
If it wasn’t for his cheeky personality and the smiles/belly laughs I think I would have lost my mind at this point!

Please tell me I’m not alone 🥲

How much does your baby eat

Hello,

How much does your baby eat?

My boy is 4 months (17 + 5 weeks) and he weights 7kg (born 3.5kg)
Sometimes I have feeling he is eating too much…
From yesterday I had to start giving him more food as he started crying after food and asking for more. (100% formula)
He eats around 1.3L in 24 hours (6 feeds with 5 being during the day and 1 overnight) . On internet it says baby can eat 150-200ml per 1kg body weight so in theory my baby can eat max 1.4L so it would tell me he is not eating too much… just on higher end.
Then on internet it says baby shouldn’t eat more than 32oz (900ml) in 24 hours. So I’m a bit confused…

Getting out of the house

Please tell me I’m not the only one who finds it near impossible to get out of the house with my LO 😓 She’s 4.5 months and I’ve barely gone outside since giving birth. Where I live it’s still super cold and the 3 times I attempted an outdoor walk with her she started crying after 10 minutes…
She won’t nap or nurse on the go anymore and still nurses every 1.5-2 hours. Up until 4 months her cluster feeding was so frequent I couldn’t go anywhere because of that. I’m completely house bound and going crazy. I feel like every other new mom I see on my social media is out to restaurants, Pilates classes, vacations, etc with their babies and for some reason I’m the only one who can’t handle it. Tell me this gets easier 😭

Edit: *it’s not because I worry about OTHER people with my baby’s crying- her crying stresses ME out especially because I know I’m depriving her of food or sleep because I went further than 30 minutes from our house and she won’t nurse or nap until we get home. It just feels like too much hassle and stress to bother.
