Not sure how it will affect your UC but looks to me as though your sure start claim has been accepted and payment will be made imminently. You’ll get the acceptance confirmation letter within 5 days

hey I have a family support worker she sent it out at end of February I got a message on the 18 th of march saying about the 28 day wait and got this message today x

Yeah doesn’t affect UC, and the day after I got my letter the money was in my bank, so you might find it goes in quicker than the text says!

so the money goes in before I get the decision letter?, which I have no clue what that is either , Sorry it’s all confusing for me , other thing is I take it as I got a message instead of a letter to say I’ve been accepted ? X

so you’ve been accepted for it, so within the next few days you’ll get the money in your bank account, the letter will just say the same pretty much as your text message, just confirms you’ll get it that’s it really

That’s ok, I think it’s just for yours and their records and probs incase you don’t get the text!

It's a grant so won't affect any other payments and ur entitled to it because u get uc it's one of the benifits that's make u eligible
