Burping

I think its supposed to be when they sit up unaided
My LG is 4 months and will just burp on her own and won't burp if I try so I rarely try now as she just won't burp

I still burp my LG but she's got bad reflux which has only come in the last few weeks

When they can sit upright on their own, there shouldn’t be a need to anymore. It just sort of comes up by itself at that point.

Sometime even us adults need someone to rub our backs so aslong as my baby can’t talk I will always try burp him at least once no matter his ages only take couple off mintures to try but atm my baby is 6 months and does sometime need burping but most off time he can bring it up :)

I still burp my baby occasionally, but sometimes when I sit him up after a feed he burps on his own.
