Has anyone ever experience this? Had the first ultrasound today which is 7wks and 5days. Ultrasound says it only measure 6wks and 1 day. The nurse practitioner said there is probability of miscarriage that the pregnancy is behind. How true is this cause I am so scared.

7 weeks must be the dating ultrasound. I would recommend to talk to your doc and redo the ultrasound at diff location.
I had this situation during my first trimester ultrasound where technician made mistake in the measurement and got me scared.
When I repeated the ultrasound everything was great.

How do you know it is supposed to be exactly 7 weeks 5 days? Is your period always on time? Could you have ovulated late?
it was done at two different places already same thing
calculated from the first day of last period. period is always 2-3 days late

If your cycles are longer or shorter than 28 days this can affect your dating scan. I have very short cycles so I’m always further ahead than what is calculated based on my LMP.
was there any problem,

Nope everything was fine. I just ovulate earlier than what would be calculated assuming a 28 day cycle, which is what they do when they use lmp

I’m surprised the nurse practitioner said this based on one scan.. usually they do at least two to monitor growth because unless you did Ivf and know the exact day, ovulation could have been later on etc
Update
After two weeks still measuring 6 weeks and 3 days. The doctor says it has to come down to a miscarriage. Says they can give meds or remove it or wait for it to come naturally. Confuse

I’m so sorry to hear that, sending you so many hugs :((
