Baby currently sleeps with us in our room downstairs. It’s easy for me as she sleeps on my side of the bed. She outgrew her mamaroo. She currently sleeps in the bassinet her god mama got her. Now the issue is the bassinet is the type that has one rod down the middle to hold it steady but my baby adjusts her self to one side of the bed, which I feel makes it unbalanced. She’s currently 15lbs; I fear if she continues to sleep that way it may weight down the bassinet and I don’t want my baby to get hurt.
I am also not ready to move her to her room yet, because it is upstairs and I really I’m not ready to leave her up there all by herself. Still contemplating letting her cosleep full time. Anyways my questions is as any other mama with baby’s room upstairs moved their LO into their room upstairs.

I was thinking instead of buying a new crib, to turn the queen bed into a floor bed for her. Now I’m contemplating buying her a bigger crib/ bassinet. My husband already bought into the idea of turning the queen bed into baby’s floor bed, but I’m trying to get him to agree with me buying another bassinet until she’s old enough to sleep in her room by herself. uhh I’m so turned 😩

You could get a pack n play for the meantime until you're ready for her to have her own room!

Since my son out grew his bassinet we moved him into a mini crib…it’s big enough he can move around in his sleep without waking himself up but still small enough I can keep him beside me in our room since he’s still waking up to nurse at night
