My now 18month old daughter has recently stopped sleeping through the night. It’s been well over a month & a half now. She wakes up around the same time every single night & will stay up for HOURS talking & being super loud. Never cried so we never go in there. She eventually goes back to sleep but then gets back up for the day 2-3 hours later. Her wake windows range 5-6 hours a day. She only naps maybe an hour & a half on a good day. She used to sleep straight thru the night without a peep but for almost 2 months it’s constant waking up & being loud. I thought for a while it was a sleep regression but now I’m starting to wonder is this the new normal? Sleep regressions don’t last 2 months right?

Mine recently started this as well but he usually gets a nap for 2-3 hours a day. He’ll wake up once thru the night. If we don’t address him, he’ll stay up and starting being loud. So his bed is right next to ours (still trying that transition to his room) and when he starts moving around, I either give him a bottle or pull him into the bed. I know this wouldn’t be what others do because they are against co-sleeping but when he knows I’m here, he’ll go back to sleep and stay asleep til 8/9.

Hi! What time is bedtime and how does she fall asleep? What time does she wake during the night and what time does she typically start her day? Is she home with you or at daycare too?

bedtime falls between 7-8. She self soothes herself to sleep. We do her night time routine & after she has her milk we go to her room & tuck her in & she’ll sometimes sit there & play with her stuffies until she falls asleep(give or take 20 min). Before all this she was waking between 7-8 am and right now she’s at home with me

Literally been going through the exact same thing, my little one is about to turn 18 months and it’s been going on for us 2 months now as well, did it ever get better?🙃
