Am really struggling with feeding my daughter, she was born at 34 weeks and is now 7 weeks old. We tried for a few weeks breastfeeding but she just wasn't consistently latching and now we have swapped to bottle. Some days she finishes a whole bottle but other days she won't take any and is nearly all Ng tube fed. We are home now and I was really hoping we would be moving away from the tube but we seem to be going backwards if anything. I'm not sure why, she just doesn't seem interested in it at all! We are on a three hourly feed schedule and it's all I ever do/think about! I feel like I'm missing out on all the other stuff at feeding takes so long to prep and do. Any advice? Thankyou x

We are having the exact same issue with our little one. She was discharged from hospital with ng tube and was taking over 50% consistently from the bottle but since home she was doing so well and having full bottles two/three times a day , over the past few days she’s just completely going the other way and now won’t even do a quarter she just spits out. We’ve tried different bottles teats etc. we’ve an appointment with SALT team in a few weeks so hoping to get some new ideas or answers to why she’s going backwards.
