First year of marriage

@Patricia you have a beautiful little family. It's been 10 months in my marriage so far. And yes, we are working through our too. Ours can be long distances from time to time due to him being in the military.

I’ve never understood why people say the first year of marriage is hard . I would think that’s the honey moon phase. I’ve been married for 5 years and been with my husband for 8 years. The hardest year for us was the year our daughter was born. The stress, the sleepless night, the hormones etc. I would say communication is key. Communicate with each other and try to understand why you guys feel the way you’re feeling. ♥️

Did you have a baby recently? Babies put a ton of stress on relationships! My wife & I saw a couples therapist for a little while after baby was born to help with the transition & it was super beneficial. We have great communication but having a professional to talk to helped us navigate some of the more difficult parts of becoming new parents. I’d definitely recommend it if it’s accessible to you!
