I'm freaking out. I just made pancakes for my 1 and 3 year old and myself (12 weeks pregnant) and I went to pour a glass of milk (the same milk I put in the pancakes) and it was sour. The pancakes tasted great though! I looked at the expiration date and it was April 9th...8 days ago. Are my kids (and unborn baby) going to be ok? I cannot believe I did that. I always check but I swear I bought that milk this week! Guess not.

It's almost certainly fine. I mean, get rid of it now that you know, but I wouldn't worry. If y'all DO get some stomach upset, now you know why, but I wouldn't consider this worth worrying about now that it's done .
ok thank you!

I have a few older baking recipes that specifically call for sour milk. You will be fine!

It was cooked through so you are probably fine. Some recipes need sour milk... It's the bacteria when it's sour that makes.it bad but you probably heated that out of it
Thank you, guys! Everyone made it through the day no tummy issues so I guess we're good thank goodness!!
