Hey, I'm 37 weeks as of today. But on Friday, when I went in to the doctor, my baby girl was in a breach position, so we have a ecv scheduled for Monday. This is my first, and I hope it'll be successful, but kinda worried it's going to be painful. Does anyone have one, and was it painful?

I had an ECV done with my daughter who is 12 now. They put mineral oil on my tummy and then picked her butt up and moved her all the way around. Not gonna lie…it did hurt. But, it was over quickly for me. I delivered her vaginally a week and a half later with no tears or anything. I hope it works out for you!

Not sure if you would be interested in this or if it's an option with your doctor but I am waiting to do it at 39 weeks. It does make the chances a bit lower of success because she will be bigger but I am going to have an epidural and I am going to be induced immediately after and be able to use the same epidural. If the ecv is successful I will be induced if it is not they have a c section lined up.

We are hoping she will flip on Monday. If successful, we will set up another at 39 weeks to be induced or a c section if she doesn't flip either day.
