I thought it was starting

Yep had 3 hours of contractions 5 mins apart on Friday night, nothing yesterday morning then about 6 hours of them yesterday afternoon then woken up to nothing again. So frustrating and disappointing

Also due on Monday!

Yep, same. I've been having this for an hour every other day for the past few days, then stops. Also think I may have started losing bits of mucus plug. Due next Tues !

My due date was 2 days ago. I’ve been getting back pain and some cramps but nothing consistent. By morning it’s all gone. I feel so fed up, miserable and frustrated, I just want this baby out 😭

urgh so annoying! I’m hoping for a loss of mucus plug or something. Thought I’d wake up with regular contractions this morning or something to clearly show I’m on my way, so disheartening 😩😩

I had some strong period cramps Thursday and Friday. Then they have stopped. Yesterday i thought my water broke a little but it seems that I've peed myself. Nothing happen, due date on Wednesday. And im feeling so Fed up at the moment...

So frustrating, I've had intense pressure, lost pieces of what I think is my mucus plug but it's so inconsistent 🙈
Likely our bodies gradually preparing for the real deal.

At an antenatal class I attended they mentioned you can literally be in full progressing labour then everything halts and doesn't restart for potentially a week! 😱
It's possibly an evolutionary instinct that our bodies' security alarm goes off and shuts the process down until its deemed safe/a better time to give birth again 🤷‍♀️

I had a night of exactly this a week ago (Saturday night), Sunday absolutely nothing.. then woke up with really intense cramps on Monday morning which very quickly turned into contractions and by Monday evening I had given birth. Hang in there lovely xxx

oh this gives me so much hope for it to be happening soon! Did you lose mucus plug or anything or just nothingness? I’m hoping for a Monday baby aswell following in your footsteps after a nothing day today!! Manifesting 😂🤞🙃

I had a bloody show Monday morning as the contractions began 🥰 just try and keep positive, I know how hard it is but your body needs you to relax! Xxx

Mums who are waiting for their babies. An hour after my last post I lost most of my mucus plug. An hour after that my waters broke while out food shopping. It was honestly a gush like in the movies. I tried all sorts to start labour, but I think that kick started mine was going for a long walk the day before and acknowledging my emotions. My son was born the following morning after a long labour, some complications and an emergency c section. Good luck mumma’s x
