So I’m 38 weeks tomorrow… however I feel like I’m overthinking about him moving. I’m trying to poke my belly and move him and he’s either still or not responding and then when I’m not doing anything he moves. Don’t know if I’m freaking out or not but aghhh even right now writing this he’s moving and I can feel his hiccups but I just don’t know.

Just go get checked for peace of mind, they won’t mind at all!

If you feel a change in your baby’s movements it’s so important to get checked out even if they move hun and hiccups not a sign of movement unfortunately hun better being safe and sorry hun go with ya gut instinct ❤️ xx

Just go, it’s always better to be safe than sorry, my mum works at MAU and they don’t get annoyed they want you to come every single time xx

My boy was like that - had me worried but was just only active when I wanted to sleep lol or during my sleep so I’d really worried drink something super cold or hot to get a reaction - as moving won’t help it just rocks them to sleep more 😅

Try something really sugary, do something active and then have a lay down, still if nothing get checked, they won’t mind! X

Honestly just go even just for you peace of mind. You’ll never walk out of their thinking you regretted going x

I’d 100% go get checked even just for peace of mind xx

I worried constantly! Talk to your midwife or the triage unit / get yourself checked out. It’s a lot but the peace of mind is worth it.

I gave birth at 38 weeks and he was totally silent three days before hand and I was freaked out but I never went to the hospital because I didn’t want them to be annoyed at me I ended up giving birth in the car I say go to the hospital even just to hear the heartbeat because it’s worth it

Please call triage if you’re concerned. You know your body best and if you feel something is wrong then trust yourself and don’t think you’re overthinking. Midwives always recommend to call in for a reason. It’s better to get checked out and everything be okay than wait too long and something is wrong
