Vaginal bleeding post c section

I had this! I don’t have an explanation I’m afraid. But got fooled into thinking I’d healed very quickly after my C but then it started again like a heavy period. It’s starting to come to an end now and I’m five weeks post C-section x

I'm still bleeding over 4 weeks after a c section. Usually depends how much I've done in the day as to how much I bleed but its still there x

I would keep an eye, I had that happen and I had a womb lining infection that caused me to bleed heavily. If it's not too heavy, it's normal though xx

I am still slightly bleeding and over 6 weeks section. I had to ring my gp and she has requested urgent scan which I am still awaiting an appointment. Over 6 weeks doesn't seem normal so hopefully there's nothing wrong. I will be 7 weeks on Tuesday

My bleeding stopped after a couple of days and started again after 2 weeks... when I told the midwife she asked if I'd started overdoing it and said that can be why. In my case I definitely had, so it prompted me to take it easy again!

Strident midwife here! It’s completely normal for the stop / start bleeding. It can be influenced by amount of physical activity and also breastfeeding x

I had the exact same thing it would stop and then come back it felt like I would never stop bleeding and it was so frustrating x

Yeah I had the same for 4 weeks. Midwife told me I would bleed more whenever I did too much. A lot of blood would be over doing it.. I have a 2 year old and bleed so much more this time round than the first time. X

I had my c section on March 18th and I’m still bleeding too 😭 with my first, I only bled for like 4 days so I didn’t know to expect this, I’m glad to know I’m not the only one.

I'm still bleeding, had a c section on 12th march. I did have about a 3 day break about a week and half ago so don't know if this is still pp bleeding or a period.. really confused. Had 5 natural deliveries and knew the clear cut difference.

Bleeding can be on and off x
