I’m curious to see how others “contact nap” with their older baby’s. Mine is almost 9 months and for her short nap I will let her sleep in cradle position while I watch tv and for her long nap I pop a pillow on my legs stretched on the sofa and let her sleep there while I gently rock her with my legs (old school method my mum taught me!). What do you do?

Mine is now 2.5 and doesn't nap. But at 9 months I had her either in a carrier and walking about the house/outside or would just lie down with her and a book for me to read while she sleeps. I don't remember when we stopped, but definitely contact napped until at least her turning one. Sounds like you are enjoying it and there's no need to change things 🙂

My almost 13 month old naps on my chest whilst I'm in an armchair in his nursery. Light off, white noise on and me listening to a podcast through headphones x

I still sometimes do contact naps if it means mine will sleep! He’s nearly 18 months old.
It’s not often now but I don’t mind it at all! X

We do cradle position as he fall asleep feeding on the coach or bed but yeah sometimes my arm goes numb and it’s really difficult 😂
Thanks for sharing everyone ❤️❤️
