Yes. Today is being horrible…every 1-2hours. No tips…hopefully someone will share some wisdom 😬

My baby girl has been doing that for the past 2 weeks and I’d say she’s only had 1-2 nights where she only woke up once or twice and I haven’t done anything different that night so I really don’t think there’s any tips, I think maybe they’re going through a sleep regression? It will pass!

Same, very tiring. He's lucky he's so cute 😅

Are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding? If breastfeeding, I find my LO sleeps longer and through the night 99% of the time when she’s had loads of feeds during the day. It’s like the milk carries her through the night. Has been doing this from 9 weeks to now- 4 months.

how does it work with feeding loads during the day? 😂 might sound obvious but I’m EBF and feed on demand. She still wakes all hours (even when not in sleep regression) do you just feed even when not showing signs of hunger?

Also one very tired mum here.. no advice I’m afraid but also in the same situation. My LO wakes 2-3 hourly every night, no matter what I do!😂

I EBF on demand too and also offer every 90 mins on average. Mostly she will take the feed but I never force her or continue if she refuses it I.e. turns her head away or keeps unlatching after a few mins even when she is burped. I use the huckleberry app and I’ve noticed the trend that if her feeds total around (4 hours) in a day, she’ll usually sleep a long stretch at night 9hours on average. Anything less and it’ll be 7 hours ish. I have no idea how much she takes with breastfeeding so can only go by total time of feeds but it’s just a trend I noticed! Could be different for others of course x

We've recently got to a feed every 4 to 5h. Did nothing differently but noticed when he feeds more throughout the day, he sleeps longer.

oh wow that’s pretty amazing! How long does your baby feed for when he feeds every 4-5 hours?

I’m back! So, baby slept 6 hours in a row yesterday 🥳 she didn’t do this for 3 weeks!!!
Things I did differently yesterday:
A lot of tummy time with rolling during the day;
Decreased to 3 naps which gave more space in between each;
Gone one nappy size up for sleep (used pampers ultra dry);
Increased feeding during the day.
Let’s hope for another good night today 😙

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
