My baby has a hard time sleeping on his own. He sleeps better when he is beside me, but I hate it. My anxiety gets high, he runs hot so we are all sweaty. However, it's the only way I can get sleep. It's especially rough during the night. I'm so exhausted, I cannot force.yself to stay awake to feed him. I'll call asleep while side feeding. I'm also solo parenting right now, so, it's not like Dad can take him out the bed if I'm asleep, or take over feeding.
I don't know that I want advice, or if I just want to get it off my chest. Co-sleeping gives me anxiety. I don't want to do it. ðŸ˜

have you tried a bedside bassinet?
They are too expensive.ðŸ˜

Hey! You’re doing great mama! I co-sleep with my son sometimes too! He’s 5 months this Saturday and it also gives me anxiety but I also notice if he moves even a bit I wake up. I don’t drink, don’t smoke and don’t take sleeping meds so I think as long as you don’t have him drowning in pillows or blankets you will most likely wake up. He has a bedside bassinet and it doesn’t matter he wants to be beside me sometimes. I open the window and put him in thinner clothes when he does this so he doesn’t sweat but the first couple of times were brutal. Good luck mama!

My baby is in the same boat. He’s 6 weeks but has been doing This since around 3 weeks? But he sleeps only on us. When we put him in the bedside bassinet it’s not for long until he starts to get fussy lol. There are affordable bedside bassinets on Amazon

Any chance you’re near northern ca? I would totally give you our extra one! (I had twins my first pregnancy lol)

How old is your baby? Maybe it's time to sleep train them?

The lullaby trust website gives you a safe sleeping low down for co-sleeping. I had 4 incredible sleepers but my 5th just wouldn’t sleep unless next to me.. their sleep and yours is important to shape the next days sleep also. I know how you feel as I hated it and it terrified me but once I was following the advise on the website of safe sleeping it made me more comfortable

My baby will be 9 in a few months and he’s the same except he did have a bed side bassinet that ended up getting used for storage because he never used it. He is super hot and sweaty too so I usually just have the air on and a light blanket and I never put him in clothes and he is okay. He does sweat but not as much and he would and I’ve been doing this since he was a newborn. You’re doing good it’s the only way I’m able to get sleep too since I’m solo parenting and breast feeding as well
