Not sure what foods are best to eat after getting this diagnosis. Not really sure where to go from here. I've been having a tough pregnancy and I guess I'm just feeling really low right now and I can't think straight.

No it wouldn't. Rice is likely to spike your sugars massively. The diabetes UK website has some great ideas.
If you do want rice it should be brown rice but it still might push your sugars up.
Cheese is a good shout and can slow down the metabolism of cards if you eat it just before a meal. X

You can actually eat rice but basmati and types low on the glycemic index. I have GD and I’m able to eat rice without my sugar levels spiking.. depends on what you pair it with
