Am on a local mum and baby WhatsApp group / Facebook group. And I’ll be honest I’m pretty guilty of flaking myself on the odd meetup that people have chatted about. But most also flake aswell. I guess we / people have good intention to go and then on the morning the babies not settled, or tiredness is prevalent or life gets busy with something else.
I’m just wondering have you met people better at mum and baby groups than on the app locally?
Feeling quite isolated as am single mother. So I know I need to make more of a conscious effort to get us to mum and baby groups but with them being predominantly morning based, the struggle has been when exhausted doing everything. going to try sign us up to ones that are around midday or early afternoon and as our nights get better the morning timed ones.
But just wondering how others have found meeting new other mums and babies when none of your friends or family have babies or you have a limited circle / moved to a new area.
Thanks x

I've met someone on here locally to me. We've met a couple of times and just chat. Haven't met any mum groups apart from the sensory and swimming classes but no1 in them has suggested meeting up, or at least not to me and I haven't either. Confidence thing for me though. But learning to push myself out my comfort zone

i've met someone on here, we had our babies the same day and we've actually become really close and meet up at least once a week!
i take baby boy to sensory, and chat to the mums there but no one does anything after class x
