No fetal pole at 5 weeks 5 days

You’re probably less than 5 weeks and more like 4 x

I went for an early scan where I thought I was 6+5 and no fetal pole or baby just yolk sac, the ultrasound tech thought I had a missed miscarriage and referred me to the epu. Went for a scan there a week later resigned to there being no baby and there was a baby and a heartbeat! ❤️❤️❤️

doctor and my flo app is telling me i am 6 weeks but how to calculate because my last periods started on 27th march and ends on 30th march

wow ♥️ how many weeks you were at that time of heartbeat?

your cycle can change at any point and until your around 11-12 weeks there’s no way of accurately dating until around then my flow app was wrong too it had me a week a head of what I actually was plus it all depends on exactly how long your cycle was and when you ovulated

that right and i am hoping my flo app is wrong too and i am too early not 5 weeks and 5 days . May be i should go for another scan after 2 or 3 weeks ?

yeah that is probably best as I had my first scan around 6/7 weeks and there was a fetal pole, that’s why most places don’t recommend having a scan before 6 weeks x

I was about 6+5 from measurements they took. I Must have ovulated later and it was just too early at the first scan as they changed my dates. I know it is terrifying and I spent lots of time crying fearing the worst but please try to stay positive it could just be too early for the heartbeat. Have they booked you in for a rescan? ❤️ Sending you lots of love

you are right . I did it and it says i am 5 weeks and my app says i am 6 weeks today.

but still is it normal that my gestational sac was empty like no fetal or yolk sac

yes possibly my doctor will send me again after 2 weeks . I am having high hops thanks xx

I think it all just depends on baby they all develop at there own pace my first was a Tiny little dot when I was pregnant but my second baby is a lot bigger x

Happened to me, went back at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat

I was suppose to be 6 weeks when I went for my first scan coming from my last menstrual period but we saw nothing in my uterus not even a sac and it just so happened I was less then 5 weeks I’m now 13 weeks pregnant take a clear blue digital weeks indicator if it says 2-3 weeks then your 4-5 weeks pregnant if it’s 1-2 weeks then your less then 4 weeks pregnant and if it’s 3+ then your more then 5 weeks

My doc saw a pole at 5 weeks 3 days but he said ‘this is probably what’s going to turn into your baby’, was hardly visible at all but there was a yolk sac
