Baby swaying head back and forth

Yes! Earlier this week my son started doing this he's 9 months

My baby does this all the time, she’s 9 months

Yes it's perfectly normal, my baby use to do this around 8-9months old. They're always doing something different as they grow, their discovering how to use their bodies.

I was told that babies do this as a way of “rocking” themselves, kind of as a comfort/self-soothing tactic!
