Anyone that has been away with their babies… do you have any tips for night time sleep? Did you keep to routine etc? First time we are going away, only 3 night but just so anxious about being in a different environment and how my baby will sleep because of this 😬

I've just got back from 2 week holiday, I stuck to feeding times as normal but there was so many new things going on around him that he went to sleep alot later than normal some nights. We still went out every night and had him sleep in the stroller until we got back to the villa and just transferred him into the cot.

Same with above, we went away for a week. Tried to stick to the routine as much as we could. Tried to feed baby before we went out then he just slept in the pram and then when we got home transferred him to the travel cot xx
Did they both sleep well through the night? Not sure how my baby will take sleeping in a travel cot

Same as above. We didn’t want to be having to stay in the hotel room from 7pm. Stuck to somewhat of his routine with food and bottles, and followed his que for naps. I did find he was a bit more tired though, I think because of the heat. But at night he’d go to sleep a bit later, maybe 8.30ish in the pram whist wee were out, and tbh he was dead to the world 🤣 would transfer to the cot between 10/11, and he did sleep good. But he’s been in the travel cot a lot. I’d try some naps in their before you go xx

Ours slept well for a few nights 9/10 until 7 but I think when the heat got to him he woke up a bit during the night one night but then went back to sleep :) xx

Went on holiday abroad for 12 days, I thought about sticking to routine and uk times, but a lot of it I just followed him and as it was warmer he napped at different times most in his pushchair or on us, food was pretty regular though. 😊 night times were good, just took a sheet from home.
