Did I rock baby to sleep too hard??

Could I rock or bounce baby to sleep too hard? I’m freaking out after reading some articles about shaken baby syndrome. I usually bounce baby to sleep with her head and body fully supported ofc, but sometimes when she is fussy and hates to be held craddle-ly I bounce faster and deeper, and she settles after a few minutes, I’m so scared now!!

No you’d have to shake her like a cocktail

Shaken baby syndrome is intentional and disgusting, a mother loving her baby and bouncing / rocking them to sleep wouldn’t cause this, SBS is done with hatred and evilness in mind, I promise you’re not being too “rough” x

I had the exact same worries when my baby was about Two months old. I rocked her a bit faster than normal with a slight bounce and I think I was so sleep deprived that when she did fall asleep, I was worried I had harmed her. But of course she was absolutely fine xxx

No❤️ I had same thoughts in early days but think it was sleep deprivation

No darling shaken baby syndrome is actually very rough shaking not rocking you need a lot of force for shaken baby syndrome so there’s no chance you could cause it by rocking her especially if she is cradled in your arms xx
