Medication?

If you are on medication for PPA/ppd does it really help?

Does it help with worrying at night. My baby is almost 5 months and I still have the night time scaries. He sleeps thru the night and I have the owlet and sense-u hooked up to him every night and his bassinet is at eye level I can see him all night and i watch him sleep at night. Yesterday I went out with him to the store and he went into such a deep sleep it gave me a panic attack.

Just wondering if medication will help with those kind of fears?

I was on Sertraline for my PPD, after about 5 months of being on it I was able to get off it!

On paxil and clonopin. Definitely helping. Zoloft did nothing

Zuranolone is specifically for PPD/PPA. It's an absolute game-changer. It's a 2 week course you can take while breastfeeding. You feel better within a few days. I never noticed any side effects with myself or my baby. It's been night and day!

As someone who already has bad anxiety and depression it makes a huge difference. It doesn't work as well as my normal meditation did and when I stop breastfeeding I will change back. But it is better to have something that helps with the small worries and anxiety than nothing at all. Don't tuff it out it's not worth it.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
