Hey there.
So I have been trying to breast feed but unfortunately due to a medical condition with my right boob (galactocele- milk cysts) I think I need to throw in the towel. It’s a shame because my left produces, but because my right barely produces anything- it’s just never enough. It makes feeding and pumping feel like a waste of time/my breasts are completely different sizes and it is getting dramatically worse at a fast rate.
As a result of this, my boobs are already two completely different sizes (think B cup vs DD cup) and I think at this point with severe PPD stemming from my negative body image overall- I just can’t go on like this knowing I’m doing permanent damage to my breasts (appearance & unevenness) /not producing enough as a result of this condition.
How did you taper off from breastfeeding? I feel like if I just stop I’m going to get an infection in my left.
Any formula recommendations are also much appreciated I can’t find anything that my son likes- which is why I’ve just been dealing and feeding him from my left only- but again, not enough milk, and I have enough PPD from my body changes as it is.
Thanks in advance

So sorry you’re going through this 🩷 I combo fed and my little one gagged whenever I tried to top her up with formula. I used to use the Enfamil A+ ready to feed. I’m only guessing, but maybe the taste was just too different from breastmilk. I switched to Kendamil organic stage 1 and she seemed to really like it. We’re still using it now, 5 months later, without any issue.
Omg that is too funny that’s exactly what my LO does… and ofc is enfamil.
