Does it get easier to stand up for your children? I have a hard time with confrontation and I'm still having a hard time 9 months later protecting my boundaries with my son. Will it get easier so do I need to find my voice now so we're not disrespected more in the future?

Yes definitely find your voice now and keep boundaries in place for behavior and actions that are disrespectful to other and adults

Yes it definitely gets easier. I'm an introvert and extremely quiet and nervous around others but when it comes to my kids I find my voice and mama bear comes out. I know it can be hard but setting boundaries and expectations now will make everything easier in the long run. You got this!

It gets a lot easier. Before I had my baby girl I kept it all bottled up because I hated the confrontation. And little by little I started standing my ground with my LO. I'm a firm No! On certain things. It definitely helps with my hubs sticking up for things. But it gets a lot easier. The more you do it the more confident and comfortable you will feel with it. In the moment it does cause me some anxiety and I do have to let myself cool down afterwards, but my baby will always come first. Even over my own fears and worries
