My 4 month old LB recently had a short stay in hospital due to his eczema and he slept SO well in the large hospital cots without me by his side disturbing him constantly.
He’s a long baby and pretty much fills his next to me cot now. Unsure about whether or not to put him into his own cot in his room. His cot wouldn’t fit into our bedroom so that’s not an option.
Has anyone moved this little ones into the own room already and how did it go?

I haven’t yet but also considering with my LB. He’s big and is really filling his next to me. I feel ok about it because we have the owlet sock & camera. I think as long as they have a camera they should be fine xx

We’re in the middle of transition as our LG is the same - super long and bashing the sides of her Moses basket, so constantly waking herself up. We’ve got a little bed chair (husbands from fishing lol) set up in her room, so on the nights she’s being extra cranky and waking up a lot, I’ll go in there and spend the rest of the night with her, but the rest of the time we’ve just got the monitor set up. She’s sleeping so much better on the whole and last night did 7pm to 5am which was unheard of before!

My LG has been in her own room a week today now!
All gone as well as it could, works well for both of us x

We have put our LB in this week and he is loving it, he gets so excited when it’s bedtime routine now! Do whatever you feel is best x

We put baby in her own room when she was 3 months

Her cot just arrived this week so I hope to build it soon and have her move to her room next week.
