How can I stop feeling bad for myself as my
Postpartum experience was so traumatic and painful along with my birth. I’m the first girl from both my parents and in laws side to give birth and I know everyone had high expectations of meeting the baby right away and everything to go smooth but that wasn’t the case for me. I feel like I gave scared everyone along with my siblings. It wasn’t the experience I wanted especially being the eldest. Seems like everyone feels sorry for me

I’m sorry you’re going through this. You need to let yourself feel those feelings. Pushing them away won’t help. And it’s ok to feel bad for yourself.
Soooo many women have traumatic experiences. You’re not alone. If your family has any other expectation besides you and baby making it out safely from birth then that’s on them. You don’t owe anyone anything related to birth.
I don’t know what thoughts you’re having or what would help you but you’re welcome to DM me if you need an ear

I had a very traumatic birth too.. everyone's birth is different. My sisters was worse than mine. Also, your next pregnancy may not be the same too.
I get that but it’s really hard to accept what has happened because I always wanted a smooth delivery (who doesn’t) people around me are having such easy deliveries with easy postpartum journeys. It’s a never ending guilt battle

I’ve rarely heard of a mother that wasn’t struggling postpartum. How well do you know them? Also some people just focus on the positive. If they think too much on the hard parts they might lose themselves in it.
For the women that truly have it easy - may it continue to be so for them. Make dua for them and Allah will increase you too. It’ll ease your suffering to make dua for them.
You could take comfort in knowing that no one has everything in life. We all have our blessings and challenges.
