Am I being dramatic🤔

It’s my birthday today and I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant so obviously I don’t want to do much. My father was going to do a birthday dinner for me today and ended up canceling it because his girlfriend doesn’t like my husband. And now my husband is out hanging out with his friends and probably won’t be home till late. Is it so much to ask for to not be alone on my birthday. I’ve already felt so alone through this pregnancy.

Your husband obviously doesn’t care so maybe you go and have dinner with your dad and his girlfriend anyways. Your husband won’t be there 🤷🏼‍♀️.

You're not being dramatic at all. The situation seems messed up from all sides. It's messed up your dads gf got the dinner canceled because she doesn't like your husband when she could easily have sucked it up for an hour or two to enjoy a meal. And it's messed up that your husband is out with his friends instead of at least trying to be there for you on his birthday. Maybe if you ask your husband to come home and spend your birthday with you, he will. Or you can just enjoy a dinner with only your dad if its not too late.

Happy belated birthday momma! You are not alone in this journey. Just remember you have a beautiful baby that already loves you dearly.
