Rolling instead of crawling

Is anyone else’s baby not crawling yet?
My little boy has always hated tummy time and he was a late roller, but now he has the hang of rolling he will roll everywhere instead of crawling 😅
We have plenty of ‘floor time’ where I’ll lay out toys etc out of reach but he will roll in a full circle rather than crawl to them 🤣
I’m not overly concerned as I know crawling is a wide milestone but I would like to see him crawling soon if anyone has any tips on how to get him going?
Thanks!

I would just leave him too it. My boy rolled everywhere but now he learnt how to crawl but it’s more like an army crawl he can’t go on all fours yet. He learnt him self to do that he also walks everywhere in a walker now. My boy is nearly 8months though x think they just learn how to do stuff in there own time but if your one is rolling now it won’t be long until he’s crawling x

I’m hoping he’s going to figure it out soon, he much prefers being held up to stand or in his walker so he may skip it all together but he’s frustrated because he wants to go he just can’t quite yet 🤣 x

yeah I get you. I just left my boy to do it himself I dunno what made him start crawling the way he does lol I first noticed it on the bed but he wouldn’t do it on the floor but now he’s doing it all over the floor so think he preferred doing it on something soft first. My boy does prefer his walker now though since getting it he can get places faster my boy won’t put weight on his legs if he is held or he can’t sit on the floor it’s weird as he can sit very well in his chairs and stuff without leaning back lol x

Yes, us! She will be 10 months old on the 17th and she would rather roll all over the floor instead. Feel like I could have written this myself xx

Yep 🙋🏻‍♀️ 9 months, zero crawling.

Only thing that helped encourage my first was things directly in front of her, made it harder basically for her to roll 😂

My boy rolls everywhere too. Hell put one leg up as if he is about to push himelf forward.... But then just rolls away 😂

My first never crawled, bum shuffled everywhere then started walking at about 14m

mine will be 10 months on 13th so not much between! It’s good to know it’s not just your baby isn’t it 🤣 you see all these babies crawling all over and mine literally just loves a rolly polly from one side of the room to the other 🤣 xx

haha! I try that and he literally just rolls in a full circle instead of crawling forward 🤣🤣 I’m sure it’ll come!

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Car seat crying

My 6 month old PANICS the second I put him in a car seat and screams, cries, chokes and recently even projectile vomited on a 14 minute drive. It’s gotten to the point I don’t even bring him out unless it’s to a doctors appointment. I’m a stay at home mom with no family in my state and it has been very isolating. We’ve tried 3 different car seats with no improvement. Has anyone had a baby who hated the car seat? Any advice? This started at 3 months. I will add it does seem worse when he’s tired. He does cry on every trip though. He only contact naps and co sleeps so he reaches for me and will not sleep in the car seat.

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵
