My 3 month old is breastfed with one formula at night which he normally has around 8. After he has it he will normally have a wake window for about an hour and then go to sleep at ten. He has just started to sleep all the way untill half 6 which means his last feed was at 8pm. Should I be waking him up to eat in the middle of the night? Or is it okay for him to sleep through?

Wake him after 4hours.. the lips and throat gets dry... probably they will go back to sleep with a little feed.. .. it is good to wake them up in between just like how we drinking water at the middle of night.

Let your baby sleep.! He is okay if he needed it he would cry for it just like he cry’s for anything else.!

I was really worried when my EBF baby started sleeping long stretches at this age. My HV and nurse at GP surgery said that as long as she carries on gaining weight etc then it’s not a problem. Maybe ring and ask for our HV as they’ll know more about your individual circumstances, e.g babies percentile etc 😊 I think because so many people go on about BF babies needing to feed more frequently etc it can be quite scary when they do start going longer stretches!

If weight is ok don’t wake him up and enjoy the stretch. You never know how long this would last 🙃

I wouldn't wake him, let him sleep and enjoy your rest.

As long as baby is gaining weight lovely there is no need to wake. I kept waking up mine till about 6 weeks but o was gradually stretching the time between feeds. Now my little girl is still thriving g at 14wks last feed at 9pm and sleeps through till 8am but the occasional wake up for a feed between 5-6am xx

Let baby sleep! If they’re hungry they will wake! If weight is all okay then it’s absolutely fine :) enjoy the sleep yourself x

If weight gain is not an issue then let him sleep and enjoy it! He will wake when he's hungry. My first woke every 2 hours until 11 months old to eat, when my second slept through the night starting at 2 months I was IN HEAVEN lol

My baby started sleeping through the night at 3 months old! As long as they arnt losing weight since starting sleeping through the night it should be perfectly okay!
