My partners navy, he left a few days ago for deployment until Christmas and I’m struggling💔

my partner is getting deployed end of august until december and i’m dreading it! have you got any socials? it’s nice to be in contact with people in the same situation xx

Some good days and some bad. He had a big deployment last year. He is currently away which has now been extended 🙃. We have a toddler and I work quite a stressful job. Some days I feel as if I can't cope with everything and then other days I feel as if I am on top of things...

i bet!! we got lucky when we found out i was pregnant since i was so late into the pregnancy they let him have time off until the baby came and two weeks after it! he’s back in work now and it’s awful xx

Navy girlfriend here! Other half currently posted in Scotland, we’re 500 miles away and the other end of the UK in Southampton. (Been posted here for years, only 3 weeks left). He’s been able to come home for long weekends once a month. Good days and bad days! I feel like a single mum a lot of the time, which is very bizarre when you know it’s the complete opposite in reality!

We also got really lucky when LO was born as he was around for the first 9 months? Working alongside. No idea how it worked out that way. I feel super grateful for that as I know a lot of people don't get that. However, since then it's been quite full on. Our toddler is now 2.

Hi Emma. I am not too far away from Southampton. If you ever want to chat, message me 🙂. That sounds so so tough with him being all the way in Scotland. Thank goodness there are only 3 weeks left! We have a few weeks left too (hopefully, unless it gets extended again). I get what you mean, it's bizarre! It's a different world really x

My partner has just left for a 4 month deployment. Back end of November, 3 weeks before our little one is due! Struggling massively however he will be at home for just over 3 months when he is back so that is keeping me going!
The struggle is real sometimes however I just try and keep myself busy! Helps that we have contact most days. Just enjoy the time together before your partner goes ❤️
