Keeping on top of house work

Please can someone give me some tips on how
To keep on top of my house work, I have always been really good at keeping my house basically spotless when it was just my son I had my house was immaculate my HV use to actually comment on how well my house was kept, since having my daughter I just can’t seem to do it, my down stairs Is always kept on top of its lived in looking sometimes but it’s clean and tidy and I make sure it’s all done for going to bed I always get it done during my girls nap also, but up stairs is a task and a half, she’s such a light sleeper as well as sooo clingy so if I do it when she sleeps I wake her up if I do it when she’s awake she just screams for me to lift her or screams if I put her in her cot and I feel so bad when she gets upset! She’s also wild so if I turn my back for a minute she’s up to something🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ please if Anyone has any tips please let me know or even let me know if I’m not the only one we sometimes i actually feel like the worst mum and wife cause I never remember my mum struggling as much and I also don’t want my kids thinking the house is messy

In all honestly, I'm two children in and have come to terms that a) I treat myself to a deep clean every now and again with a really good cleaning company and I can walk out of the house feeling like crap and walk in feeling amazing that it looks and smells beautiful or b) lower my expectations completely and do what I can, and make sure I feel like I'm being a good mum and spending quality time with them just getting the absolute essentials done. I've been much better second time round with this. I made myself poorly the first time trying to spin so many plates, I was exhausted.

My 10m old is going through the same phase. Anywhere literally beyond 3cm causes huge distress. He has so much going on right now with teeth, growing, weaning etc. He just wants to snuggle xx

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Bedtime routine

I have a 12 week old and we struggle to get him to sleep in his next to me crib or Moses basket, so he sleeps in bed with us which means we’re struggling to have a bedtime routine as he won’t sleep till i go to bed with him.
Any suggestions please as he doesn’t sleep till around 11/12
