I am in shock at how long triage waits are. 4-8hrs!? I've checked myself out as I'm no longer worried (heartbeat and movement fine) and clearly they aren't if I'm not moving up the list to speak to a doctor about other symptoms. What's your experience?

It probably not that they aren’t worried but that they have others of higher priority- multiple emergencies etc that take priority. If they had checked heart beat and movement then they knew you were safe to wait. Others might not be. Personally I’d rather a longer wait because my baby be safe then have all doctors rushing around me because something is seriously wrong…
I was waiting to speak to a doctor about a symptom I had this morning but given everything else was fine, and midwives weren't worried, then it felt safe to leave. I've got a 25 week appointment tomorrow that I'll raise it at. I just wasn't expecting that wait time but maybe that was naive. I wish they'd been more honest about it so I could make a judgement call earlier.

Wow I didn’t think it would be that long/busy! Glad everything is ok :-)
