Has anyone got any easy recipes or ideas they do for little ones when you're getting a takeaway or having something they shouldn't really be eating? I'm trying to find some quick easy lunch or dinner bits but struggling with quick easy recipes ðŸ«

When we do date night at the weekend and eat when lo is in bed and we are having something we wouldn’t give her I either just defrost something I’ve made or make bean fritters which is half a tin of beans flour egg and a handful of cheese she loves them or fake pizza a wrap with tomato puree and cheese and pop it in the air fryer

oh that's a good idea thanks will try that!

I really rate What Mummy Makes on Instagram and also got her book from Vinted. Lots of very quick recipes which you can batch make and freeze.
Been a lifesaver for lunches and when our little girl can't have what we're having.

Pasta is my go to for those kinds of occasions, it's his favourite.
We also (as someone else has said) make him a pizza using tomato puree on half a tortilla wrap, with veg and a little cheese.

Can you batch cook something in small portions and freeze it? We do that with cottage pie, pasta bolognaise, curry & rice etc. We use a silicone muffin tray to freeze it into hockey puck style portions and then once solid turn them put into a zip lock bag. Either leave in the fridge to defrost gently or nuke in the microwave until thoroughly hot and leave to cool (I float the bowl in cold water when we need it to cool quicker).

Pizza Thins! Warburton thin, tomato paste, cheese Chuck in air fryer for a couple minutes and boom, wee treat for baby 🥰🥰

My LO loves omelette at the minute, easy and quick to make and you can throw anything in it. X

I've heard of this before actually and totally forgot about it! Thankyou I will have a look :)

Yes, I need to do some batch cooking as it's helps so much, just finding the time 😩
