My LO is 4 months and she sleeps well at night time, falls asleep being held at 8:30, transfers to NTM bed by 9pm. She occasionally waking up for a feed around 4am and then back to sleep until 8am …perfect!
Day naps however are a nightmare. She will not day nap unless being held or in the car. If I attempt to transfer her to NTM bed, she will immediately wake up and not return to sleep. I’ve also wanted to try a bit of self soothing to sleep but she will refuse to nap and just lays there crying.
Anyone with any tips on how I can get her to sleep during the day in her NTM so I can have a moment to myself?

My LG is the same - sleeps well during the night but naps are a bit of a nightmare unless she's being held. So we mainly contact nap, which I do love, but I would like the option to get some other stuff done occasionally. We tried for 3/4 days of naps in her crib downstairs but if I managed to get her down it was for 20mins max and the 40+mins of crying/fighting to get her sleeping didn't seem worth it 🙈 We are going to try again but in her NTM upstairs or her cot when I build it to see if that works better. The rooms are darker upstairs (black out panels) and there's less going on that can distract her - I know it's going to take a few days at least for her to get used to it so I just need to persevere I guess. I'm hoping it goes a little smoother than our last attempt 🤞x

We have exactly the same issue. I’ve found darkening the room/being quiet (I presume they know the difference between day/night if sleeping well at night) and doing a 15 min wind down before a nap (if you can pick up on their cues) really helps. It doesn’t always work for us, but I’d say 1 nap a day I can pop him in his cot!!

My LB was the same until i started introducing soothers for him. Everynight for a week, i gave him the same muslin square to cuddle with his dummy when i would place him down to sleep. Then i started introducing it the same way during the day with his naps and now he knows when he gets his dummy and the muslin square to hug that its time to sleep and we don't have any issues because he associates them with sleep.
