Baby barely sleeping at nursery!

My girl is 10 months old and at nursery 2 days a week. She’s getting around 40mins sleep there on average and always falls asleep on the way home at 5/5.30🤦🏻‍♀️ which is resulting in late bedtime when she’s needing an early one! She’s also refusing a bottle there and is even fussy with milk from a sippy cup there. She takes a bottle ok from dad at home.

She’s eating well there, she’s so good natured and they always praise how well she’s done at the end of the day but she is shattered when I pick her up! She also seems to have attached herself to a member of staff which is nice atleast.

But the sleep situ is stressing me out a bit. She’s been breast fed to sleep a lot but I’ve made a big effort to get her just rocked to sleep but she’s so used to black out blinds and white noise, it doesn’t suit the bright noisy nursery environment. I’m feeling mum guilt for having her in nursery so early but I needed to return to work for financial reasons!

Is anyone else finding the same? Or have any advise? Thank you

I used the pampers smart sleep coach app and it really helped. We were co-sleeping and doing all contact naps until bub was 7 months old (he was tongue tied so fed constantly). Everyone told me Ive made a rod for my back and he will be with us forever etc . but I did a gentle sleep training method which teaches you how to remove 'sleep crutches' like white noise, rocking to sleep etc slowly. Now my bub only sleeps in his cot and I literally just put him down awake with nothing to help him sleep and he falls asleep within a few mins and stays asleep/has decent naps.It takes a bit of commitment and you can choose a quicker/harsher method on the app for quicker results but I wanted to do the slow one, honesty worked well for us! Let me know if youd like more advcie and good luck!

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts

Ebf bottle refusal

I want to introduce a bottle so my partner and mum can feed baby every so often but she hates it! Have tried breast milk and formula and am using mam bottles. She also isn’t a fan of dummies. Goal is to give her formula as I hate pumping!

First time using Milton cold water sterliser…

When the 15 mins is up do you just take them out and put them straight back together?
I know it says you can leave them in the solution until use but I don’t want to do that as I have 8 bottles to sterilise and can only fit some at a time.
I have mam bottles but my microwave isn’t tall enough to fit the bigger ones in it to sterilise them🤣 didn’t have this issue with my son as previous microwave was taller🤣

Nursery settle sessions

Anyone started their settle in sessions? Was our second session today scheduled for two hours. Dropped my boy and returned after after 1 hour 45 minutes. The nursery worker, bless her, was rocking him to sleep. They said the baby was crying for 1.5 hours. Not gonna lie that worries me a lot! How are your little ones doing? Have they settled smoothly? FTM here and a very anxious one
