Ebf bottle refusal

I want to introduce a bottle so my partner and mum can feed baby every so often but she hates it! Have tried breast milk and formula and am using mam bottles. She also isn’t a fan of dummies. Goal is to give her formula as I hate pumping!

We found literally the only bottle my boy would take is the lansinoh natural wave teats. They also fit on mam bottles ☺️

Yes the mam bottles apparently aren’t great if your baby is used to exclusively breastfeeding. Tommee Tippee is also supposed to be really good, hope this helps 🙏🏼

Mine only takes NUK perfect match and I exclusively breastfed.

Ebf babies don’t generally like dummies. My baby would take a bottle for me but she took one when out so maybe you need to not be present x

Fed up

My 16 month old is only waking twice a night but for both those time she is suckling on me for 40 minutes and then I can’t transfer her to the cot so I’m in there for nearly an hour and then have to end up getting my husband to come in when she’s asleep enough to pass her to him, within 10/15 minutes of being in there he gets her down

I know two wake ups isn’t bad but being in there for so long is killing me and then because I’m so awake after that it’s really hard to get back to sleep.

The only answer is to stop the nursing back to sleep but she cries so much I can’t handle it, a few minutes feels like a life time 😩 I feel so trapped and fed up this is so so hard. I can deal with multiple wakes if she goes back down easily but this is torture
I wouldn’t even mind co sleeping but our bed is way too high and our mattress is very soft so it’s not safe and whenever we’ve tried anyway she just gets wide awake and thinks it’s play time 🤦🏻‍♀️

Moving to own room

Have we put our babies in their own rooms yet?? I know it’s recommended around 6 months but I don’t feel ready yet. Can someone educate me on why we are supposed to do it at this age??
