Has anyone had success at stopping nursing to sleep? It’s been 9 months of me being the only person to be able to put her to sleep and I just can’t do it anymore. I’m at my breaking point.
I’ve seen all the suggestions of self soothing and what not but mine just won’t. She just screams her head off until I pull out the boob again.

If it's me he needs to nurse to sleep. But dad can rock him or just hold him to sleep. I'm not sure why but if I need a break I ask my husband but for the most part I personally don't mind since he falls asleep pretty quickly and I don't mind the snuggles. But I do get it.

same! I think they see us and expect the boob

I understand and I know that it is a lot my daughter won't go to sleep in the same room as me if she's not nursing if she's in another room she'll go to sleep that's fine with someone else, but I have started to put her in the crib when she goes to sleep yes it is nursing to sleep but it's kind of also developing an independence as well. I guess when I'm trying to say is little steps towards making the change of nursing to sleep and you got this I honestly do know it can be a lot.

I gave her a bottle at bedtime instead of the boob. And it worked. But now I have to pump every night.
