Trying for baby no 2

My partner and I are trying for our second baby and I was wondering if anyone had a girl when they conceived on their ovulation day? We have a little boy but I really want a girl as we have decided we would only like 2 children. I would be still very happy and grateful if we have another boy but I’ve always dreamt of having one of each so I will be a little upset if I don’t. My periods were back to normal after having my son (they were very irregular before as I have PCOS) but the last 3 times they were every 3 weeks and now it’s been 4 weeks today since my last period and there is no sign of it so I’m worried it might be difficult to conceive and track my ovulation again

i don’t think it’s very true unfortunately! i’m in the same boat as you and i’m already pregnant (had a little boy, pregnant again) i conceived either the day before or on the day of ovulation and i’m 70% sure i’m having another boy (nub theory) xxx

This isn’t true at all, gender is determined by sperm

Unfortunately your body has no say what so ever it’s the sperm that determines the X or Y chromosome xx

Agreed with Amy and Katie - all the eggs you carry are the X chromosome. Sperms are either x or y. If an x sperm meets the egg you get a girl and if it’s a y sperm then you’ll get a boy

im always stressed so that might be why i had a boy 😂 i am a negative person so i do need to change that

Chemical pregnancy or too early ?

I did a test last night and straight away the positive line came up. When I tested again this morning it’s negative. My period isn’t due until Tuesday but feeling really crap and pregnant for the last week

Ovulation

If I had sex yesterday (Saturday) n my ovulation date is on Tuesday is it possible I could get pregnant?

Could this be like my ovulation is about to start from this ovulation test

I'm so not meant to be a mother.

My kids won't listen to me get into stuff when they know they aren't supposed to. Telling me no all the time. Only listen to their dad. Laughs when I correct them. I spend most of my time yelling at them because they don't want to listen to me at all. My husband said that I shouldn't have kids. And I am believing him on it. I was never meant to be a mother now. I won't hurt my kids I just want to disappear and make everyone else's lives better without me.

One and done… or not?

32ftm. I’m starting to feel so much pressure to have another baby soon as I wean from breastfeeding so they can be close in age and be friends, but I don’t feel ready for pregnancy and newborn trenches again 😭 my husband and I are all we’ve got. Having just one baby without a village has been really tough. Am I being unrealistic wanting another one soon?

I had a positive ovulation test yesterday and had unprotected sex the night before. I took the EllaOne pill last night. Has anyone had this before? Was it effective if you’d already seen the positive ovulation?
