I’m 9 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and sick 24/7. I have medication from the dr which is helping a little but making me so tired.
I’m not really coping looking after my 2 year old and although so thankful my husband and my mum have been helping out with him as much as possible, I still feel like a crap mum and am getting no quality time with my toddler.
I had HG with my first as well so pretty much know I’m stuck like this for the next 31 weeks.
I honestly don’t think I can put myself through this again but we originally wanted a big family and had said at least 3 children.
I basically just wanted to know if anyone else has had to have a smaller family than originally planned for the same reason as I keep beating myself up for feeling that I can’t do this.

If it helps I had HG on my eldest and was diagnosed in this pregnancy. Around 18 weeks this time it seems to have subsided so it CAN get better, I'm 25 weeks now and only 7lbs down on my pre pregnancy weight.
Having said that, I will not be having a third because of the horrendous sickness and how hard life is while so sick.
You're absolutely not alone and it's completely normal and natural to not want to go through that again. Xx
