i'm trying not to be fucking crazy right now

i really am. i've barely slept the last 5 days (maybe 15 hours total in that time) and i've barely ate anything because it's been a hectic couple weeks and now that everything's settling i can't.

my husband and i had sex 2 days in a row earlier in the week, since then he seems to have pulled away. this happens so often where we have sex and then the next day or a few days after he pulls away and doesn't interact/talk to me as much. he's autistic, we've even talked about this phenomenon, and he swears up and down it's not him pulling away and he feels the same for me as always. but he's lied to me in the past. he lied about having a reddit account, having a discord, watching porn, reinstalling reddit and discord after deleting them, he's lied about buying/smoking cigarettes, and lied about the way he's talked about me and our child online.

so, the past couple days he's pulled away again and tonight i notice him typing a lot, i ask him what he's doing and he's just pretty vague about it. normally he has no problem telling me but today he does? i also noticed while he was typing he was angling his phone away from my view. we sleep next to each other and he's angling his phone toward the wall? for what? he's also changed his phone password recently. you see where i'm coming from?

every single time he's lied to me he's changed his password and not told me. every single time he's been caught in a lie he swears up and down he won't lie to me again, and then 6 months later he fucking does! i asked him for his phone password because i was trying to log into his email as i've been helping him with job applications recently and he just unlocks his phone and tells me the email code and locks it again. like wtf? can i not trust you? is there something you don't want me seeing? why is it i can't have your unlocked phone now but last month you handed it over willingly? because last time i caught him in a fucking lie? maybe don't be so fucking obvious every time you're up to no good?

it's 4am and i don't want to be the crazy wife who wakes her husband up at 4am to accuse him of lying yet again? but at the same time i won't be able to sleep if i don't. i've done so goddamn fucking much for that man and THIS is how i'm repaid? i'm a full time mother, full time college student, and full time wife. i force myself to have sex regularly even when i'm tired or i don't feel like it because he has needs too. i clean house, even after him, because i don't want him to be stressed by his environment after working all day. i teach and care for our daughter every waking moment of the day. i sacrifice myself to give her everything. does that not deserve some fucking thanks? does that not deserve any fucking respect at all?

the last time he lied to me i locked him out of the house and tossed his shoes after him and said GTFO. you're not gonna be out behind my back shit talking ME and expect to get away with it. again, i don't want to be the crazy wife who wakes him up at 4am to accuse him of cheating but im so fucking hurt and confused right now and i just want to know.

someone talk me down because im about to fly off the handle into a rage.

I have no smart advice but sounds like you’re really going through jt atm, do you have any family/friends close by to lean on? Can you get a couple hours sleep at all?
Usually when I have a hunch about my partner being up to no good… it’s because he is, and I hate to say it but woman’s intuition is pretty much spot on if you ask me.
He sounds like he’s not pulling his weight and he has a history of lying so question is… do you trust him? It doesn’t sound like it… I’d confront him, ask to see the phone.
If he says anything other than yes… find a way to get out of there

From what you said it sounds like he is doing something shady. However, you are extremely sleep deprived. I would suggest trying your best to get at least a few hours of sleep before you say anything to him. It’s best to approach these situations with a calm, clear head and you can’t do that being this exhausted. Trust me. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. After you get some sleep ask him straight up what’s going on. Ask him nice and firmly so he knows you’re not playing and take it from there. I hope you’re able to get to the bottom of everything ♥️

Wait so he’s not being unfaithful? Just watching porn and on public forums? Maybe he lies because he feels he doesn’t have privacy. I don’t believe you’re entitled to anyone’s password because you’re married and I’m sure that’s an unpopular opinion.
Is it really so bad that he has an outlet? Or does he say really horrible things online about you and your child? What does he say? Part of me think we should normalize everything not being for your partners eye to see, but trust is v important.

Post partum dad

I have a 2 month old. A few weeks ago my husband crashed out because he didn't feel like he was getting to bond with her. I started exclusively breastfeeding around that time and honestly didnt see the big deal. Baby and I left for a few days and when we got back home, everything was fine. He was extremely hands-on. He helped with my meals, her bedtime, bath, stories.....for a few weeks it was great. Then he randomly sounds depressed af. He says our lo is better off without him, he wants to sleep all day , he asks me not to watch tv then tried playing a video game. He refused to reply to me when i asked any follow-up questions. Then he woke up our baby trying to race me to the bathroom first thing in the morning . He's doing a weird mix of crying, trying, and giving up. Im starting to feel like I cant handle him not being able to handle life with baby and just want to be alone. Are there resources for men?

Is it bad of me to think this or no?

My husband has been abroad for work (1 day and exploring for 1 day) for 2 and a half days which means I’ve had both kids (1 year and 4 year old) for 2 and a half days plus cooking, cleaning, taking them to clubs, bedtimes!
He came home late afternoon and said I’m so tired, I just need to chill. I said can you wash up whilst I sort kids dinner out, he said he’ll do it later which means he won’t do it and I’ll end up doing it so I said no do it now please otherwise I’ll end up doing it and he said well you have been home and I’ve been away so you’ve just been relaxing.
Don’t know what planet he is on but having the kids alone for 2.5 days is not relaxing. I was stressed!

When he was away, I did miss him and wanted him to come back but now he’s back, I want him to go away again😂
Is that bad?

Really bothered by this

A friend posted this and it really bothers me because that is exactly how she parents her kid, and it's rather unfortunate because when our kids hang out together, her kid has a meltdown at least 5x within an hour. We have know them for years and it's only gotten worse. My kids will concede to hers, because they don't want to see their friend crying, but it sucks because they give up so much of their toys and enjoyment to keep the peace. We aren't hanging out as much anymore but it's rather sad to think she doesn't intervene more in her child tantrums and just let's it slide

Shift worker daddies - advice please?

My husband works shifts (6am-6pm days or 6pm-6am nights) so when he’s on shift we either get about an hour or 2 before he goes to work or an hour or 2 when we gets home with him.

I don’t think people who aren’t married/have babies with shift workers fully understand the impact of feeling like a solo parent sometimes.

Does anyone have any advice? I do have parents who can help but I struggle to leave my baby with others as I always feel like they don’t understand the need for tracking wake windows or feeds and our baby will not sleep unless we black out a room or go for a car drive . Everyone seems to think ‘if he’s tired he’ll drop off’ - no he’ll just get overtired and have to then pay for it during his night sleep. So I feel like it’s just easier for me to do it all myself.

When my husbands off work he is great but I do take the mental load of telling him what to do or even reminding him of wake windows etc because he’s not here and forgets routines. He’s also being tested for ADHD currently so there’s that on top of shift work.

Just looking for advice on how to stay sane/keep routines or share loads with shifts workers?

Thank you ❤️

Feeding

My son is coming up to five months and I just started giving him oatmeal and rice cereal. When can you start trying veggies or fruits? I only give him the oatmeal or rice cereal once a day right now which is what the paediatrician had said to do. I’m just curious to when anybody tried anything else with their kids cause my son eats a lot of formula and he’s VERY curious when I eat.
