We currently have a mattress on the floor as our bed because we're looking for a new bed frame. For her naps it's difficult to get her into her cot from there because she's a light sleeper. Would my 5 month old be ok napping in the centre of our mattress if we took everything off of it?

@Amy she's difficult to put into the cot because she'll wake up but she won't go to sleep in the cot for hours

I am confused, why cant she sleep where she normally sleeps?

I’m assuming she is falling asleep with you on the mattress?

My 5 month old naps in the middle of my mattress, he doesn't roll but I use a baby monitor and put pillows at the edges of the bed also, so if he did move then the monitor would alert me
