I NEED HELP😵💫 I’m currently 22 weeks pregnant and have a 23 month old toddler. My toddler slept well for the first 20 months of his sleep - breastfeeding and rocked by dad to sleep. Now my milk has dried up, I am weaning him, his dad still rocks him to sleep.
Sleep is battle - he falls asleep relatively calmly when my partner rocks him, but he wakes up in the night screaming, overtired, can’t be soothed by rocking. We try to give him a bottle of cows milk which he drinks sometimes and then is WIDE awake, usually screaming and then only calms down if we turn the TV on.
Eventually I DRIVE him around at all hours of the night to put him back to sleep. RIP to my fuel expenses.
I’m thinking of laying next to him at night and cutting out the rocking completely, telling him we can cuddle but no more rocking or milk. But I know it will be hard letting him cry like this.
I guess I just want any sleep tips I can get, I am desperate and about to work with a sleep consultant too.

Heysleepybaby on IG has a great weaning guide and resources on how to change up how baby falls asleep. Sorry, mama. Sounds exhausting!
