Are these normal behaviors of a 4 yr old ?

My son is 4(turned 4 in June) and I’m noticing some behaviors that I feel are a little diff from other children his age, just curious if it’s just his personality or something I should look more into

My son has REALLY bad separation anxiety… he WILL not understand any circumstances leave me without having a full on meltdown. He’s this way with everyone that’s not me, his dad that he sees everyday included . If his dad says he’s taking my son to the park he ask if I’m going and if I say no he says he doesn’t wanna go.


My son also isn’t super social. To get him to engage in conversation is like pulling teeth, he will literally ignore the person speaking to him. He lives with my his grandfather(my dad) and some mornings he will say good morning and give a hug and then other mornings he will ignore him and walk past him like he doesn’t even know him. It has become a joke of my dad saying let’s see what mood he’s in today if he speaks he’s in a good mood if not then hes gonna just leave him alone. He’s like that with everyone except me . He speaks when he wants and when he doesn’t want he will completely ignore the person speaking.

He finds not listening hysterically funny. He ran in the street the other day and laughed smh. He knows the dangers of the street he actually knew not to go in the street since 18 months old, but lately he’s been finding it funny to do dangerous things.

He also recently started saying really inappropriate things like he’s gonna poop on my head or he wants to pee in my face (it’s not what Hes seeing or hearing that’s making him say these things) he just thinks of these things off the top of his head while he’s peeing or pooping.
