Toddler bed transition… we are STRUGGLING 🫠

So my daughter is 26 mos now and we’re trying to transition her to her toddler bed (her convertible crib with the front rail taken off). She is having a lot of anxiety sleeping in there. The first night she did okay after I sat with her and talked for about 30 mins before leaving her to go to sleep. The second night she absolutely refused for hours and hours and I eventually gave up and let her sleep in our bed. The third night was the same as the second. Finally, the fourth night (yesterday) she had absolutely no problems and was actually telling me she was ready for me to leave the room so she could go to sleep. Now, tonight, she seems to be at square one again, screaming crying as soon as I start to walk away.
Anyone have this experience, what did you do? Does it mean she’s not ready for the transition? Any advice is welcome because we’re STRUGGLING!

I would think that means she's not ready, my girl is begging to sleep in a regular bed, so we're transitioning her this weekend

Too young
Honestly I get that parents need alone time. But these little ones are so scared in this big world. You and her BOTH know how dependent she is on you to feel safe.
Let her feel safe with you.
When she is asleep you can let her stay in her room with a night light. She will get used to waking up without you. But she needs you right now

I wouldn’t push it. Maybe have her fall asleep in your bed and then move her so she wakes up in hers.

I also let my daughter fall asleep in my bed then i move her to her room she gonna eventually get use to sleeping back by herself

We’re having the same issue with our 2 year old. When we’re taking the rail off she seemed excited to go in her new bed but when bed time came she was terrified and kept running out of her room. My other daughter did the same thing and we put the rail back on for a couple months, then one day she just said she was ready for her big girl bed and was fine since so I’m hoping that happens with my second. We put the rail back up and are gonna wait a few months

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
